About Us
Holistic Help In An Ideal Environment
Our History
Premanjali is the offspring of two important Synods held in Mumbai and Vasai. The outcome of these synods was: Families are in urgent need of help. However, the roadmap for implementation was not clear. Premanjali was conceived and set up as a long and short term response to this felt need.
Premanjali Counselling Services Institute was set up to train professional counsellors, using the latest methods available in the USA. Its primary focus was to offer supervised training for psychologists with the latest skills and techniques available to deal with a variety of psychological issues with minimum time. Supervised training was the need of the hour for psychologists in India. Many had professional degrees but lacked supervised training in implementation of their learning. A quick solution was to do a short course in a particular form of therapy and use it as a solution for all problems. We also offered counselling and therapy for diverse client population.
It was inaugurated by Archbishop of Vasai Diocese in Sept. 2011 and became operative in June 2012 with Dr. Bernadette D’Souza, DHM and Dr. Anthony J. D’Souza, SJ as its founding director. Read More
